Fauna

The fledgling performance collective *Necessary Digression presents the first of two works by the Argentinian playwright Romina Paula at the teensy private townhouse venue Torn Page, which seats a maximum of 20 people. Directed by April Sweeney and translated by Sweeney and Brenda Werth, Fauna tests the lines between fiction and biography as it looks at four characters working on a film about a legendary character. (A second Paula piece, The Whole of Time, will debut on October 21.)
