Encores!: Zorba!

John Turturro plays the titular life-affirming Greek in the Encores! series' concert staging of John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joseph Stein's 1968 musical (based on Nikos Kazantzakis's best-selling novel). The starry cast includes Santino Fontana, Elizabeth A. Davis, Marin Mazzie, Robert Cuccioli, Adam Chanler-Berat and Zoë Wanamaker; Walter Bobbie directs, and Rob Berman wields the baton.
