Encores!: Once Upon a Mattress

Broadway mainstay Sutton Foster stars as the hard-to-please Princess Winnifred—and her Thoroughly Modern Millie costar Harriet Sansom Harris plays her villainous prospective royal stepmother—in Mary Rodgers and Marshall Barer's 1959 musical charmer, the first offering in teh spring season of City Center's invaluable concert-staging series. Lear deBessonet (Into the Woods) directs, Lorin Latarro choreographs and Mary-Mitchell Campbell wields the baton; the starry cast also includes Michael Urie, Nikki Renée Daniels, J. Harrison Ghee, Cheyenne Jackson, Francis Jue and David Patrick Kelly.
