Encores!: Merrily We Roll Along

City Center's invaluable Encores! series begins its new season with a two-week run of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's rueful and tuneful 1981 cult musical (which is as long as the show's original production lasted on Broadway). Colin Donnell, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Celia Keenan-Bolger and Elizabeth Stanley lead the cast, directed by longtime Sondheim collaborator James Lapine.
