Encores!: Fiorello!

City Center's invaluable Encores! staged-reading series kicks off its 20th season with a look at this Pulitzer Prize–winning 1959 musical about New York mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia, with a book by George Abbott and Jerome Weidman and a score by the Fiddler on the Roof team of Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. Gary Griffin directs a cast led by Danny Rutigliano, Kate Baldwin, Shuler Hensley and Emily Skinner.
