Distant Observer: Tokyo/New York Correspondence

In this cross-cultural collaboration, two writers—American John Jesurun and Japanese Takeshi Kawamura—tell alternating chapters, written sequentially but without advance planning, in the story of an accused murderer in Japan. Jesurun directs the world premiere; the Japanese-to-English translation is by Aya Ogawa.
