Chinglish

Much of the humor is found in translation in David Henry Hwang’s timely and sharp-minded comedy about a U.S. businessman (Gary Wilmes) and a Chinese official (the exquisite Jennifer Lim). Leigh Silverman’s swift staging accents the jokes, and the mostly Asian cast of seven puts them across with finesse.—Adam Feldman
