Children's Musical Theater Festival: Musicville

Sat July 23 at 3pm, Sun July 24 at 1pm. Rose Nagelberg Theatre at the Baruch Performing Arts Center, 150 E 25th St between Lexington and Third Aves. at Presented by Broadway Workshop, a local theater school for kids, the Children's Musical Theater Festival chose two tuners from over 100 submissions and filled the casts with young actors from across the U.S. This original, written by New Yorkers Bentina Hershey and Denver Casado, follows two musically-inclined heroes Maiden Melody and Radical Rhythm and their nemesis, the Sorcerer of Silence. Ages 4 to 12.
