Legendary football coach O.A. "Bum" Phillips might never have earned a Super Bowl ring, but for Houston Oilers diehards, he was a hometown hero with a knack for offbeat turns of phrase. Luke Leonard, who directed a gripping staging of Britten's The Turn of the Screw at Symphony Space in 2012, helms a creative team that includes composer Peter Stopschinski and librettist Kirk Lynn.
