Time Out says

Spend the evening listening to a performances by the New York City Opera under the stars. For the last in this summer's Bryant Park Picnic Performances, the opera will present an an abridged version of Donizetti’s classic Lucia di Lammermoor — think Romeo and Juliet but set in Scotland. Immerse yourself int he the drama with Donizetti’s brilliant score and hear from the world-renowned soprano Sarah Coburn, the captivating tenor WooYoung Yoon, and the legendary bass-baritone Mark Delavan.

Bring a picnic blanket/chair, or borrow one at the park. You're welcome to bring your own food, too. Or if you don't have time to pack a picnic, order something from one of the local vendors on site. At all performances, Stout NYC offers cheese and charcuterie boards as well as a selection of beer, wine, frosé, and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase.
