Botte di Ferro

The Tank rolls forward into live performance with a site-specific production of a new play by Ben Gassman, set partly at a pizzeria in Naples, that looks at the messy slices of friendship, romance and desire that can make up a relationship. The main characters are an elementary-school teacher and chef who have been drawn to each other (and away from each other) since their first encounters at summer camp. Tara Elliott directs an expert cast that comprises Jess M. Barbagallo, Laura Caparrotti, Layla M. Khoushnoudi and Alessandro Magania; performances are held outdoors in the garden patio of Red Hook's Good Fork Restaurant.
