Femmes don't get more fatale than Elizabeth Báthory, a 16th-century Hungarian aristrocrat who was reputed to have tortured and murdered hundreds of young girls. To usher in the new year, the theater company spit&vigor presents Kelleen Conway Blanchard's fictionalized account of her gory adventures, complete with romance, swordfights and an original score by Z. Quinn Reynolds. Sara Fellini, who also designed the costumes and set, plays the blood-thirsty central role in the NYC premiere, which is directed by Nick Thomas.
