Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre's Vít Horejš directs and stars in his own new adaptation of Václav Havel's absurdist 1975 satire about life in a totalitarian surveillance state. Part of Havel's Vanek Trilogy, the story is inspired by the dissident playwright and future Czech president's own experience being consigned to work in a brewery. The marionettes are designed by Milos Kasal, Jakub "Kuba" Krejcico and the show's co-conceiver, Theresa Linnihan, who also performs it opposite Horejš.
