This former black box has been a West Village landmark since its opening in 1956. Having undergone renovations, this 162-seat rental space still houses new plays and musicals each year. Some of its past world premieres have included Lorca’s Blood Wedding in 1958 and Sondheim’s Marry Me a Little in 1981.
