Third Annual Runyon 5K

Yankee Stadium transforms into a family-friendly obstacle course today for a fund-raiser benefiting the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. Participants prepare for the day by collecting pledges, all of which will go straight to research. Then they'll run, walk and climb through the stadium's concourses, sprint up and down stairs, and circle the track around the field. Though the event takes place in mid-August, all participants must be registered by July 29.
