Chelsea Piers has added a dose of relaxation to its massive sports and entertainment complex. Located in the Sports Center Health Club, this retreat marks the fourth location for Paul Labrecque (others are on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Midtown East). The spa is tucked away behind closed doors with a woven-vinyl floor that insulates noise from the nearby gym, while the separate five-chair salon area features stellar views of the Statue of Liberty. Services at the latter include cuts ($75–$500, depending on stylist), color ($85–$500) and deep-conditioning treatments ($35–$95). Blow-dry fans will love the Paul Labrecque Blow Dry Club (only available at this location), which includes a single blowout ($50) or cost-saving bundles of ten ($450) and 20 ($800). Manicures ($35–$50) and pedicures ($65–$85) are provided at two stations facing a panoramic view of the river, while one seat is reserved behind frosted glass for makeup applications, including touch-ups ($25–$125), lessons ($125) and eyelash extensions ($150–$350). For even more pampering, head to the eight-room spa, complete with a barbershop (offering hot shaves, $55; and scalp massages, $55–$125), couple’s room and wet area for serious scrubdowns. Labrecque pulls out all the stops with luxe facials ($135–$275) and body treatments ($95–$195), as well as massages ($80–$285), including Thai rubdowns (60mins, $140) that incorporate yoga stretches. Bring a piece of your indulgent experience home with Biologique skin-care ($25–$275) and Paul Labrecque’s signature hair products ($18–$55).
