Owner Klara Chrzuszcz ran a nail salon in her native Poland before moving to New York eight years ago, and has since worked at popular spots such as Bliss Spa and YeloSpa. She finally opens a space of her own with this upscale, aqua-toned medical spa. The retreat is divided into three rooms: One is used for waxing services ($20–$100) and serves as the office for Dr. Jean Archer to administer Botox ($300–$600) and dermal fillers ($450–$600). Another area is reserved for Chrzuszcz’s chemical peels ($200); microdermabrasion ($200, with facial $400); and European-style facials (two hours $250), which are customized to each client’s skin type, and incorporate both holistic (reiki, sonotherapy) and high-tech (LED chromatherapy, oxygen infusion) techniques. Massage therapist Ivan Ivanov presides over the third room, where he performs all manner of rubdowns ($80–$250)—Swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, sports, lymphatic drainage and reflexology—in 30-minute increments. Since Chrzuszcz has a board-certified physician on staff, she’s able to carry the medical-grade SkinCeuticals line ($30–$150), which is used in most of the treatments. Don’t miss the Lash Lift eyelash perm ($150), which curls follicles upward and lasts four to six weeks.
