This shop’s raison d’être is to stay true to Montauk’s surf culture, and it does just that with clothes and accessories from native Jesse James Joeckel. The T-shirts are the main draw, screen-printed by hand with beach-inspired mantras (WHALEBONE, STAY SALTY) in Joeckel’s studio, which is part of the shop. Color-block hoodies and hand-knit beanies round out the merch, and it’s all in an airy, whitewashed space that looks like a skate-shop-meets-beach-shack. —Stephen Milioti
