The Parisian designer’s feminine threads are making their way to NYC with the label’s first temporary shop. The 450-square-foot, bi-level space feels like an art gallery, thanks to oversize folding screens printed with images of the brand’s latest campaign, shot by photographer Mark Borthwick (markborthwick.com). You’ll find the spring and pre-fall collections (usually available locally at Scoop NYC and boutique Ludivine), including dresses in embroidered chambray ($1,364) and nude satin ($1,808). Nosh on Ladurée macarons ($3 each) and shop luxe basics, such as crepe jackets ($649), silk tops ($536) and wide-leg trousers ($403). Accessorize your new look with laser-cut purses ($1,111) and leather gladiator sandals ($773). Don’t miss the collection of Bernard Chauveau Éditeur’s 32 French artbooks ($14–$75), a series of tomes created exclusively for the store.
