Unless it’s Fashion Week, you’ll find more women sporting a pair of Nikes than Jimmy Choos on the streets of New York. That’s why Tory Burch opened a temporary brick-and-mortar to promote its new chic athleisure brand (it’s a thing!) on September 17. The space is a modern take on old country club glamour. Translation: It’s very Tory Burch. The surprisingly cool-contemporary and less preppy-chic clothes cater to every Sporty Spice (tennis players, runners, yogis, swimmers) ranging in price from $55 for tops and shorts to a splurgey $550 for outerwear. Plus, the pop-up has a monogramming station where you can select ’70s-inspired track jackets, bags or T-shirts and personalize them with your initials.
