New York City jewelry designer Miyuki Fuchs has been selling her one-of-a-kind baubles and accessories out of her East Village studio since 1994. Her first store has a gallery feel, with hardwood floors, vintage lamp shades, and artwork and photography from artist Yoshi Takao. Earrings ($30–$120), necklaces ($40–$1,200) and bracelets ($40–$1,500) are crafted with pearls, gemstones and beads sourced from Eastern Asia. Highlights include an amethyst-and-turquoise chain necklace ($180) and agate-garnet earrings ($50). Fuchs also hand-makes colorful knit hats ($30–$68) and scarves ($40–$220), and imports leather wallets ($98) from Asia.
