Just a few blocks west from his eponymous Tribeca annex (eight locations exist throughout the city), designer Steven Alan opens his first home store. The modern, travel-inspired space specializes in everything from linen blankets and textiles ($150–$394) to organic teas, honeys and jams ($10–$37) from local brands such as Shady Acres Organic Farm and Morris Kitchen. Classic bedding accessories include Steven Alan striped beach blankets ($48) and delicate printed pillowcases ($120). Holy Lama earthy soaps ($18), Shino Takeda ceramic flowerpots ($55) and scented candles from the Good Candle + Steven Alan collaboration ($16–$90) will add serene touches to a city abode. For more inspiration, head to the back of the shop where a variety of coffee-table books ($18–$60) are set out on a rustic wooden table for browsing.
