Housed in the same storefront (and operating under the same name) as artist Richard Prince’s original pop-up exhibition in 1983, this minimalist, 850-square-foot shop stocks a mix of European collections (Vanessa Bruno, Surface to Air), American favorites (Vena Cava, Loeffler Randall) and up-and-coming designers (Mociun, Sonya Gallardo). Using the airy feel of a gallery as inspiration, Parisian-born owner Claire Lemétais has outfitted the space with custom light-sculpture installations and rammed earth–crafted countertops. We were especially taken with the selection of cool mixed-material accessories, such as Won Hundred lace-up leather-and-suede platform booties ($369), Collina Strada leather-and-canvas bucket bags ($365) and Iacoli & McAllister suede-and-brass beaded necklaces ($58), but the boutique’s threads are just as rad. You’ll find Mociun stretch high-waist jeans ($275), Morgan Carper silk open-back dresses ($375) and Vena Cava double-belted silk skirts ($339).
