Solena Chaniago moved her eponymous line from Indonesia to the East Village, with the hope of spicing up our city’s droney corporate wardrobe. “I want to show New Yorkers that it’s okay to wear something more exciting,” she says. Most exciting to us are the price tags: All clothing in the store costs less than $250. Standout pieces include cream-colored woven jackets with stone-and-bead detailing ($199), Asian-inspired silk jackets with black lace ($170) and an array of Egyptian-themed copper-and gold-toned jewelry from Long Island designer Leslie Tcheyan (from $250).
