This outside of this Williamsburg shop resembles a pharmacy—which is kind of perfect when you consider the feeling you get after getting some new ink: You just feel better after you’ve done it. It specializes in traditional American tattoos, like roses, snakes, skulls and pistols, in vibrant, deeply saturated hues that won’t fade over time. Owner Mark Cross and the four other artists on staff are experts at what they do; all designs on the walls are hand-painted originals. While making an appointment is always a good idea, you can’t schedule appointments on Saturdays, so feel free to walk in then for a spontaneous session. $100 minimum; expect a hand-size tattoo to run you about $300-$500.
