Retrogreen is owner André van Hoek’s response to today's throwaway culture. After traveling the country renovating motor homes, he’s using his skills (he used to run a woodworking/cabinetmaking shop) to repurpose old materials found on his adventures. Van Hoek used discarded wood cabinets to craft shelves and naturally distressed mirrors to adorn the walls of his eco-friendly shop. His appreciation for enduring design led him to stock the shop with vintage pieces that were built to last, such as midcentury, industrial, and distressed farm furniture, as well as fun curiosities like 8mm cameras and 1960's artwork. Among the preloved wares you’ll find assorted vintage eyeglass frames ($50), mid-century lamps with etched bases (two for $225), and solid wood aged-distressed storage boxs ($70).
