After opening more than a dozen temporary storefronts throughout the country, this fashion-forward menswear label makes its first permanent home in the East Village. Made to resemble a general store with its faded wooden floors and an American flag tacked up by the register, the shop houses Reason’s full lines of clothing ($10–$200) and accessories ($10–$175), as well as an extensive antiques collection of rare housewares ($5–$1,000), vinyl records ($5–$20) that originally belonged to DJ AM, Vane x Sebago boots ($150–$220), and brass wallets ($120–$150) and monocle chains ($90) from Los Angeles skater brand Guns, Germs, and $teal. Rummage through the knitwear stacked in a windowed cabinet to find patterned zip-ups ($120); nearby racks hold waxed hunting jackets ($250) and graphic tees ($28) featuring the Reason Clothing logo.
