The high-performance sports-apparel and accessories retailer unveils its third New York store, on bustling Broadway in Times Square. An Oakley custom eyewear bar in the back of the boutique puts design in the hands of shoppers, allowing you to pair your favorite frames and lenses to create personalized sunglasses ($100–$425) in a matter of minutes, and then brand your creation with a monogram using an on-site etching machine. For those who prefer Oakley’s signature products, check out women’s polyester running jackets ($125); removable-lens rimless sunglasses ($220–$280); limited-edition two-tone, 1980s-inspired retro sunglasses ($110); and exclusive NYC subway map graphic tees ($20). Weary shopping companions can test out 3-D glasses ($120) on a flatscreen while relaxing in one of two fighter-jet ejector seats stationed in the center of the store.
