Architect Donald Rattner first introduced his curated gallery of customizable art and design as a temporary shop in November 2010, and we’re thrilled that he’s opened this permanent space. The mod home goods allow renters to decorate on a budget and tweak pieces to work for a specific space. Spruce up your dining room with a Marcel Wanders for Magis Design table ($353–$518) featuring transparent injection-molded legs (set of four $392) that can be filled with eight different patterned, plastic-coated art papers (four for $55) for an easy-to-switch-up look. Blank walls will benefit from Trevor Elliott DIY wall-art kits ($250) comprised of reclaimed wood remnants embedded with superstrong magnets that allow you to form unique assemblages. There are also plenty of smaller decorative items, including John Perry magnetic acrobat sculptures ($30–$36), AMAC clear stacking boxes with colored lids ($3–$4 each, five for $16) and Woolly Pocket recycled-felt wall planters ($41).
