When DJ Vandal isn’t spinning at Avenue A’s Koncrete Jungle, he’s compiling T-shirt designs from artists worldwide, editing them from initial layout to finished product. His hip-hop cove is equipped with a giant Methods logo, turntables, and a slide show that regularly flips through Vandal’s and owner Dave Gee’s DJ events. Each of the wildly imaginative and convoluted sketches for the selective streetwear label gets inked on shirts for both genders in a variety of colors, including graphite, teal, gold and baby pink. For $28, you’ll score Vandal’s own Brooklyn Barbarians comic-style design, a Dr. Suess–on-acid-style alphabet shirt, or one depicting King Kong wielding a spray can.
