“Forward fashion” is Marmalade’s slogan, and whether current fads are rooted in florals, Southwestern-chic prints or oxfords, this vintage shop manages to source them all. Owner Hannah Kurland is known to shorten hems or alter pieces (which mostly date from the 1960s to the 1980s) to make them more wearable—and save you the hassle of taking them to a tailor. Peppy rainbow walls, well-spaced racks and jillions of shoe displays make rummaging a breeze. Prices start around $50 and go up to $500, but the majority of the pieces fall between $75 and $150.
