Jennifer Rodriguez, formerly a wholesale account manager for Calvin Klein and Concept One Accessories, and Sam Hafis, owner of Block Headwear, joined forces to open this charming 750-square-foot lingerie and swimwear boutique. “I’ll eventually carry 40 different swimwear brands, and I love bikinis,” gushes Rodriguez. “I wanted to create a place for New Yorkers to find loads of swimwear year-round.” With floor-to-ceiling storefront windows, an elegant chandelier, mahogany floors, antique-y furniture, plush plum dressing-room curtains and a scent machine blowing out a mysterious fruity aroma, the store is fantastically girly. Find lingerie in the form of bras, underwear, sleepwear, camisoles, bridal wear and teddies, as well as swimwear (one-pieces, two-pieces and cover-ups) and accessories (sleep masks, candles and garter belts). Must-buys include Blush’s picnic-chic gingham bras with eyelet straps ($34) and matching bottoms ($20), Mary Green lace-trimmed silk rompers ($70) and Illume soy-based candles ($25).
