Bridezillas beware, there’s no room for throwing hissy fits at this low-key bridal boutique. Each engaged gal who arrives for a private fitting at the brownstone shop will be greeted with a handwritten welcome sign, then ushered upstairs to play dress-up in one of the cozy salons outfitted with fireplaces, vintage furniture and oversize mirrors. There are no princess dresses here, but funky brides will swoon over atypical styles such as Elizabeth Dye’s embroidered tea-length dresses ($1,200), Anne Barge’s studded gowns ($3,290) and Sarah Seven’s short ruffled numbers ($455). Pony up for a final touch with one of Ban.do’s beaded headbands and a statement necklace by Sequin.
