After hawking their high-end baubles in the East Village for a decade, jewelry designer Michael Regan and gemologist Jennifer O’Sullivan relocate their business to a first-floor boutique and basement atelier four times the size of the original location. Named for the Gaelic translation of Regan, Little King specializes in vintage-inspired men’s and women’s designs ($200–$10,000), as well as unusual custom creations ($500–$27,000) made from rose gold, peach gold, recycled metals such as palladium and ethically sourced stones, including Montana sapphires. Regan’s collection appeals to both art history buffs who appreciate his modern spin on Victorian-era styles and downtown rockers who love his blinged-out ruby-and-silver cuffs ($1,800). Spanish cedar tramp art display cases house pendant necklaces ($200–$750), tanzanite-and-purple-diamond 18 karat peach gold rings ($3,500) and ruby-and-yellow sapphire pavé heart cuff links ($825). Indie brides-to-be will love the assortment of alternative engagement rings and wedding bands, sparkling with colored diamonds ($800–$3,500).
