After working under Tommy Hilfiger, designer Lauren Gabrielson went on to accomplish more than the typical 23-year-old by opening a seasonal Hamptons boutique and a year-round NYC location. The Nolita shop’s pretty orange-and-white palette feels as fresh as Gabrielson’s inspiration board—covered with photos of her favorite celebs, runway shots and color swatches—displayed in a mirrored alcove. If you absolutely love something in the store but aren’t keen on its hue, rest assured that every one of the made-in-Manhattan pieces can be ordered in 50 different shades for no extra charge. Highlights include silk dolman-sleeve dresses ($275), classy blouses ($255) and girly polka-dot frocks ($365). There are also pieces from Gabrielson’s friends, including White Moth safety-pin necklaces ($135), and former Miss New York Kandice Pelletier’s silver-and-gold hardware-adorned bikinis ($250) and lace one-piece bathing suits ($275).
