Milwaukee skateboarder James Rewolinski opened this skate shop after he had trouble finding unique boards in NYC. The 500-square-foot store hawks decks ($53) from brands such as Hopps and Magenta, as well as wheels ($24–$35) and board parts ($20–$28). Men’s hats ($24–$32) and tees ($20–$28) from 5boro, and Four Star skull-print totes ($35) are popular with both guys and girls. Up your skating knowledge with Cinematographer Project and City of Rats demonstration DVDs ($20 each) and check out Rewolinski’s art installation of skateboards painted with cigarette-company logos above the phrase "5boro kills" on the back wall.
