At musician-turned-buyer Sine Hjort’s eco-friendly boutique, there’s no need to fork over a month’s rent for a new spring ensemble. The homey and airy bi-level space, which used to be an artist’s studio, is as charming as it is pretension-free, complete with Hjort’s Tibetan spaniel roaming the shop. Thanks to her previous gig as a global distributor, she’s fostered relationships with up-and-coming designers, giving customers a chance to buy from hip, local talents for way less than they would at Juniper’s competitors. Look fab in locally made Archerie 100 percent silk shirtdresses ($155), Sophia Costas organic cotton sea-horse-printed frocks ($35) and wool knit vests ($50). Splurgeworthy Tina Casmose organic leather jumpers ($350) will have you channeling Rihanna, whose music is in the shop’s constant rotation. Look out for upcoming designer showcases and trunk shows in the back garden, which is currently serving as a green fridge for bottles of wine.
