You’ll find all the trappings of a jewelry store at designer Julie Lindsey’s second-floor showroom, except salespeople—whoever isn’t on the phone shipping out an order will guide you through the baubles made of semiprecious stones (citrine, Indian green amethyst, etc.) that are showcased on silvery busts in glass cases. The delicate designs were previously available at trade shows or by special order only; considering how reasonably priced the rings, necklaces and cuffs are (nothing costs more than $300), the storefront is a strong contender for Yorkville’s gift-giving set. Get a head start on your holiday shopping with dainty monogram pendants ($95) designed by Lindsey’s daughter, Mary; yellow-and-aqua-patterned fringed shawls ($75); blue topaz, amethyst and peridot stackable rings ($75 each); pear-shaped dangling earrings in lemon topaz ($185) and sets of bejeweled bangles ($65 each).
