Established in 1905, this onetime wholesaler operated under a variety of names until 1945, when it began selling directly to consumers and adopted the moniker of its founder. Though it isn't a dedicated big-and-tall outfitter, Jos. A. Bank (which carries its namesake brand exclusively) does have a portly line, designed with the larger individual in mind. While you'll find the full collection online, those who prefer to try on garments before purchasing should beeline to a rack of blazers and sports coats up to size 50 on the ground floor and a larger rack devoted to suits up to size 60 on the second floor.
