No luxury-shoe lover’s closet is complete without a pair of Jimmy Choos, and New Yorkers have a third location where they can indulge their affinity for the iconic brand (the label also has stores in Midtown East and on the Upper East Side). Beige carpet, a pale leather banquette, crystal chandeliers and mirrored walls set the stage for the boutique’s main attraction: beautiful shoes. But if you’re not feeling flush, be prepared to simply window-shop—just about everything in the store is $195 and up. Drool over snakeskin stiletto slingbacks ($750), glittery pointy-toed flats ($465), suede clogs ($575) and leather wedge booties ($725). You’ll also find flashier looks, such as studded suede gladiator sandals ($765) and platform pumps with crystal-encrusted stiletto heels ($1,695). Additional accessories fill the shelves, including large calfskin wallets ($595), credit-card-sized zippered pouches ($225), large mock-crocodile handbags ($1,850) and long wool-silk-blend scarves ($450).
