Since debuting in 2004, this upscale Korean jewelry line has opened 80 stores throughout its country of origin and garnered a boldfaced following (socialite Lydia Hearst and South Korean Olympic figure skater Yu-Na Kim have worn its lavish pieces). Now, J.Estina has opened its first U.S. boutique in the Shops at the Plaza and joined forces with the legendary hotel to offer a limited-edition collection of diamond earrings and necklaces ($87,280–$109,000), called the Plaza Exclusive. Rest assured that not everything in the marble-floored space carries such hefty price tags: The brand’s most popular collections, including the sterling-silver-filled Tiara Collection ($170–$750) and the newly introduced Jovanna in New York Collection ($60–$420), offer more accessible baubles. Standouts from the latter include gold-plated bangles with Swarovski crystals ($240) and dark metal chains with glass pearls and Swarovski crystals ($360).
