Checking price tags at boutiques in the Meatpacking District can often be shocking ($400 for a T-shirt, say what?!), but the stickers attached to the avant-garde–inspired clothing in this women’s shop are refreshingly reasonable. The brains behind the line, which launched in February 2010, are former Diesel visual merchandiser Valentino Vettori and Sam Ben-Avraham, the founder of Atrium. Their goal is to design edgy separates that most gals can afford, and with prices starting at $70, they’re off to a good start. The store, with brick and birch-tree-printed walls, showcases simple, wearable pieces with chic twists. Find sheer hooded zip-up jackets ($188), watercolor-printed cowl-neck dresses ($238) and artfully cut blazers ($285).
