Hand of Glory Tattoo is Brooklyn’s premier custom tattoo studio. Founded in 2001 by tattoo artist Craig Rodriguez and his wife/partner Anna Sea, Hand of Glory proudly maintains New York City’s renowned tattoo heritage while forging a path to the future. Craig began putting ink to skin in 1994. When tattooing was legalized in 1997, Craig became one of NYC’s very first licensed artists. He considers himself, and the entire team at HOG, inheritors of the traditions set forth by industry legends like Brooklyn Blackie and Brooklyn Joe Lieber. The outlaw days of this art are behind us, but by honoring turn-of-the-century design traditions while embracing the form’s progress of inclusion, execution, and innovation, Hand of Glory stays at the cutting edge.
