Gryson (CLOSED)

This may be the first store for Tribeca resident Joy Gryson, but she’s no newbie: She designed accessories for high-end brands such as Coach, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs before launching her eponymous label in 2006. Since then, the company has grown to include two additional handbag lines: the edgy Olivia Harris collection ($395–$695) and more affordable IIIBeCa label ($98–$198). You’ll find all three inside the 800-square-foot space, decorated with a large gilded mirror, cushioned velvet seats and brass light fixtures. Reclaimed-wood shelves display Gryson boxy leather shoulder bags ($675) and structured suede-and-leather purses ($695). IIIBeCa merch consists of neon-colored satchels ($188) and messenger bags ($158). Tough girls will love Olivia Harris studded chain purses ($495) and hardware-detailed slouchy bags ($658).
