Guys and gals looking for stylish, breathable shoes should hit up the fifth NYC location of this Italian import (the others are in Midtown East, Midtown West and the Flatiron District). The brand was founded in 1995 by Mario Moretti Polegato after he cut holes in his shoes to cool down his feet while jogging in Nevada. The store features a clean, preppy aesthetic, with white walls and unfinished-wood shelves. Women can slip their tootsies into suede lace-up boots ($200), distressed oxfords ($180) and zip-up heels ($165). Dudes can nab waterproof motorcycle boots ($200), leather brogues ($180) and boots with elastic details ($180). Although Geox is primarily known for its footwear, its clothing is worth checking out, too. Apparel highlights include bright mohair sweaters ($150) and light down jackets ($300) for gals, and button-down cotton shirts ($75) and wool sweaters ($90) for men.
