We dare you to step inside this Danish brand’s first-ever U.S. store and not smile. The 5,000-square-foot Flatiron outpost will rouse your inner eight-year-old, with quirky decor for your office, kitchen, parties, that friend you have with a childish sense of humor and more. Among the maze-like shelves of googly-eye notebooks ($3), elephant-shaped iPad covers ($5) and french-fry wrapping paper ($6), you’ll find more practical items like socks ($3), oven mitts ($4) and cloud-shaped pillows ($5). It’s basically IKEA meets your local bodega. But perhaps our favorite thing about the shop is that 90 percent of Flying Tiger’s products are less than $10—we’ll take as much as we can carry!
