Stepping into jewelry boutique Fenton/Fallon is like traveling back to 1985. Hot pink neon lights border the windows, a white brick fireplace gleams with spray-painted gold logs and triangular display cases exhibit chunky metallic jewelry. “I wanted to create a sophisticated, grown-up space,” founder and designer Dana Lorenz said, “but also somewhere you can really play around.” The shop presents two different lines: Fenton, a collection using complicated assembly techniques; and Fallon, a simpler and layerable look that’s less expensive. Signature items include Fenton necklaces made from tightly wrapped bits of chain, intertwined with teal beads ($620); Fenton earrings with crystals, bone, agate and horse hair ($310); and Fallon sterling-plated studded cuffs ($190). Be sure to also browse a special collection of vintage apparel to find gems like a black Carolina Herrera sequin jacket ($380).
