Window shopping on Fifth Avenue can feel like an exercise in restraint. To better show off the high-end wares at their flagship, the palatial space, designed by architect Peter Marino, is understatedly appointed with Roman travertine marble walls, gleaming San Pietrini stone floors and white hand-plastered recessed displays that house the label's bags and sunglasses. The first floor is dedicated to accessories (with a small section parceled aside for the men's collection); the second floor features women's wear, home furnishings and a fur salo complete with downy-soft chinchilla shrugs priced at a blow-your-budget $16,000 each. More-realistic treats include a pair of sexy red velvet party shoes ($490) and a metallic python clutch ($1,350).
