This jeanscentric store originally made its debut in Philadelphia under the name Smith Brothers and quickly became known for its vast denim selection. While it’s changed its moniker and rapidly expanded to include two more NYC locations (the original is in the Meatpacking District), it hasn’t lost sight of its origins: Denim Habit carries a wide array of jeans from heavy hitters such as 7 for All Mankind, DL1961 and Current/Elliott alongside casual threads from labels both well-known (Ella Moss, Joie) and up-and-coming (Boulee, Dylan Alexa). The store’s attentive sales associates provide customers with one-on-one styling, so you can leave with a head-to-toe look. Pair vibrant, colored J Brand jeans ($164–$242) with a Vintage Havana mullet-style button-up ($65) or a Finders Keepers lace crop top ($96), and then finish off your ensemble with a House of Harlow antler bracelet ($95). 525 Third Ave at 35th St (212-213-8150).
