Holding the fort for 24 years, this overflowing antiques shop specializes in 20th-century American and European home accessories. Knowledgeable owner David Stypmann hand-selects the goods—all of which have a story—primarily from Baltimore, France, England and various flea markets. The curiosities here lead editors, stylists and celebrities to check in frequently for new arrivals, such as porcelain rubber-glove molds ($200), 20th-century English mirrors ($500–$1,000) and even Stypmann’s own handmade lamps ($1,000–$2,800), which he builds using parts discovered in an old Albany mansion.
